La-Z-Boy names treasurer

Monroe, Mich. — La-Z-Boy has hired Mike Skrzypczak as vice president and treasurer.
He succeeds Mark Stegeman, who left the company in April, and reports to Mike Riccio, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Before joining La-Z-Boy, Skrzypczak was treasurer of auto parts supplier Intermet Corp., and earlier was a national bank examiner for the U.S. Treasury Department. He also has held a variety of financial posts in the retail and financial services sectors.
Skrzypczak will be responsible for La-Z-Boy's treasury functions, will oversee the development and maintenance of systems for forecasting and tracking cash flow, and will direct the company's risk management and insurance programs.
