Lexington bolsters global sourcing team
Hunt named general manager of Asia operations

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Lexington Home Brands has added four people to its global sourcing team.
They include Jeff Hunt, who has been named general manager of operations in Asia. Hunt, who reports to senior vice president of operations, Bob Sitler, was Lexington’s manager of business operations for Asia and before that was director of international sourcing in Indonesia.
Based in Dongguan, China, Hunt will manage all aspects of the company’s business in Asia, including vendor relations, supply chain management, quality assurance and upholstery operations.
Mike Koonts, previously Lexington’s project manager for finishing in Indonesia, has been named finishing manager for Asia. He reports to Hunt and will work with the company’s key suppliers to coordinate all aspects of the company’s finishing business in Asia.
Julia Huang has joined the company as upholstery coordinator. She comes to Lexington from Columbus, Ohio-based Top 100 retailer American Signature, where she was product development manager. She reports to Hunt and will coordinate all upholstery projects in China along with quality control inspections of upholstered frames and fabrics.
The company has also named Jerry Sipes to the position of product development coordinator. He was most recently senior import upholstery product technician for Thomasville Furniture.
Reporting to Lexington upholstery operations manager Kevin Holshouser, he will work with the company’s upholstery plant in Hildebran, N.C. and its Asia sourcing team.
