NFM names vendors, rep of year

Omaha, Neb. — Top 100 store Nebraska Furniture Mart has named its 2006 home furnishings vendors of the year and the Vendor Representative of the Year.
The companies are Action by Lane in the furniture category, Sauder Woodworking in case goods, Simmons in bedding, and Medallion Lighting for lighting.
Tom Kovash of Lane was saluted as rep of the year for his "quality work ethic." "He definitely 'walks the talk'," said Jean Fober, merchandising and buying manager for NFM, part of Berkshire Hathaway's furniture division.
The vendor awards, determined by NFM's furniture buyers, are based on outstanding performance, product quality and timely delivery.
