Richmond, British Columbia — Case goods importer Hamilton Spill has hired two vice presidents for its sales team.
Felipe Orozco replaces Greg Zilman as vice president of sales for the western United States, while Scott Bishop becomes vice president of sales for the eastern U.S., taking over for Greg Johnston. President Rick Verjee said Zilman and Johnston have left the company.
Orozco, along with his brother Ralph Orozco, had managed World Concepts, a Mexico-based case goods producer that served the U.S. market. Felipe was vice president of sales for the Phoenix-based U.S. office. Fluent in English and Spanish, he split his time between the Southwest and Mexico.
Bishop most recently was vice president of sales at Lexington Home Brands, and earlier worked in sales for Lane Furniture, Drexel Heritage and Broyhill.
Verjee said both men have extensive knowledge of their markets and have developed strong relationships with "Top 100 and beyond" customers.
Orozco and Bishop are in the Hamilton Spill showroom for the Las Vegas Market, space B-1300 of the World Market Center.
Hamilton Spill has offices in Hong Kong, Thailand, South China and Vietnam. It operates consolidation warehouses in Thailand and South China, and has a service warehouse in Toronto.
