Lane promotes Allen

Tupelo, Miss. — Kelly Chenault Allen has been promoted to fashion merchandise manager for Lane Home Furnishings, according to Gentry Long, vice president of upholstery.
Allen joined Lane in 2004 as associate merchandise manager of recliners before being promoted to associate merchandise manager of recliners and motion furniture in 2006. Her new position will focus on covers, visual merchandising and correlate recliners.
Before joining Lane, Allen was the visual merchandise manager for Belk Department Stores in Dalton, Ga., and Nashville, Tenn.
