Sczubelek leaves L&P post
Ainsworth to handle marketing, merchandising duties
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, August 2, 2007
LAS VEGAS — Stephen Sczubelek has left his position as senior vice president of merchandising at Leggett & Platt’s Consumer Products Group to pursue other interests, the company said this week.
Sczubelek has been with the company since 2005 and was promoted to the merchandising post this year. He left the company in late June.
“He was a buyer by trade, and he brought us forward on some of our designs and our marketing area,” said Rob Woods, president of the Consumer Products Group. “He just merchandised the line for us really well.”
Ron Ainsworth, a former Fashion Bed Group president who rejoined Leggett & Platt this spring as vice president of procurement, will now handle the marketing and merchandising responsibilities.
