  • The Highland Park and Laurelhurst collections are being expanded with four new SKUs, including a gathering table and fan back stools. The gathering table has a 16-inch, self-storing leaf and measures 42 inches by 56 inches. Highland Park is a transitional French Country collection crafted of solid white birch in a high-end, two-tone, black and amber finish. Laurelhurst is a Mission-inspired dining group in solid red oak. Five-piece set, $1,199.

  • The Granville collection is a modern classic design crafted of solid white birch in a deep merlot finish. The collection combines elements of Art Deco and Louis Philippe and features uniquely shaped table legs with exaggerated curves and double-lipped edge profile. Side chairs and stools all feature quality Pirelli webbed seating and fabric with a woven linen feel. The breakfront server has satin nickel oval ring pulls and pendant hardware. Five-piece set, $999.

  • Peoria is an updated American traditional design in solid white birch with a warm cinnamon finish and light antique distressing. Features include equalizing cable glides, shaped table top and self-storing leaves. Some tables can extend to 92 inches in length. A 56-inch square table features a 16-inch butterfly leaf in dining and gathering heights.

  • Halifax is a casual contemporary oak dining group with space-saving functions for modern homes and busy families. The gathering height table, in solid oak and oak veneer, is a 39-inch square that slides and flips open to extend to a 78-inch length. The group also features an updated version of an old-fashioned lawyer's desk that can store and hide a laptop and other rechargeable personal gadgets. It has a built-in, flush-mounted power director with cord management. In a golden oak two-tone finish. Five-piece set, $899.

  • The Georgetown and Brookhurst dining collections are now offered in solid hickory and solid cherry. Five-piece set, $1,349

  • Pennington is made from solid mahogany and bamboo in transitional styling. Pieces include a 56-inch fixed table top with architectural asterisk base to match the bench. The group also has X-back mahogany chairs in a cinnamon finish. The rectangular table sports a two-tone black and cinnamon finish with self-storing leaf and dual ratchet gear glides. Chairs are upholstered. The server has a bamboo top, sliding doors and stout pewter-tone hardware. A five-piece set is $1,299.

  • Savannah II is a 14-piece bedroom that includes a traditional rice bed in a cherry finish. Bedroom also includes a poster bed, sleigh bed and panel bed. A five-piece set retails at $999.

  • Crowley is a 13-piece youth bedroom in a peach and white finish. A five-piece group retails for $1,399.

  • Danville is an 11-piece dining room with a rubberwood table base in an espresso finish and a black marble top. A five-piece set retails for $699.

  • Introductions include a sofa with a bonded leather cover at $999.

  • Arvin is a three-piece entertainment group that features slide-open doors, bookshelves and a walnut finish, $499.

  • The Naco corner home office features an espresso finish, $199.

  • The Portland casual dining set features a faux marble top with bycast side chairs, $499.

  • Danville occasional tables feature a black marble top with espresso base. Cocktail and two end tables, $399.

  • Strengthening its entry-level upholstery lineup with a motion sofa at $299 in a faux suede cover. It is available in four colors and is part of a quick-ship program.


WMC A-646

  • This California company is introducing new upholstery with robust color themes. Intros include Debra, a light, airy contemporary model with rich accent details in a 100% polyester cover; Donna, a sectional in warm earth tones in a chenille; Hanna, an oversized plush pillow back in 100% polyester; and Kimberly, a contemporary model in chenille.

  • Leather introductions include a pair of sofas, Abby and Malibu, with bonded leather covers. Abby features casual modern styling with a hardwood frame, while Malibu has more elegant, sophisticated styling.

  • Also featuring three motion seating groups. Natalie features contemporary styling with a bycast leather cover; Carrie features a two-tone padded suede cover; and Felicia features contemporary styling and an earth-toned padded suede cover.

  • Introducing a new line of memory foam mattresses featuring allergy-free double knit fabric covers.

In case goods:

  • Grande Aristocrat is a traditional European bedroom and dining room collection. Available in a cashmere finish, it features a poster bed with hand carvings adorned by blown glass accents.

  • Sedgewicke is a traditional bedroom and dining room collection with English country design influences. Available in a Tudor brown finish, it features a panel bed with a finial-topped headboard and twisting wood accents.

  • Lavelle is a traditional bedroom and dining room collection with French formal design influences. Available in a Blanc finish, it features a moderately carved wood and upholstered mansion bed.

  • Portrait Vue is a transitional bedroom and dining room collection. Available in a Timeless Brown finish, it has a platform bed and a dining table with a paneled top and cabriole legs.

In upholstery, the company will introduce products that correlate with new case goods collections and also offer two new options for existing groups. Introductions include:

  • Grande Aristocrat, a five-piece traditional upholstery group that includes a curved sofa and matching one-arm chaise with hand-carved show wood, specially developed fabrics, leathers and pillows in soft gold, dusty aqua and platinum.

  • Portrait Vue, a five-piece transitional upholstery group. Reverse track-arm style sofa features a wood base rail and fashion-forward mineral colors in both fabrics and leather.

  • Sedgewicke is a five-piece traditional group that features a mix of leather and fabrics in rich spice colors and hand-carved show wood.

  • Lavelle is a formal French group that includes a button tufted sofa, settee, bergere chair and matching ottoman, oval back accent chair and round cocktail ottoman. Features include hand-carved show wood.

  • Palais Royal is traditional group inspired by French Rococo styling that includes a new metallic leather chair, wood-trimmed sofa, settee, occasional leather chair, wood occasional chair, chair-and-a-half and an armless chaise, all with a cream and bronze color story.

In top of bed:

Introducing two 13-piece traditional comforter sets to the Michael Amini…etcetera division. Westwood features crystals accents in a champagne color; Luxembourg features embroidery in crème color with gold accents.

  • Gwendolyn is a $699 youth bed made with rubberwood solids and available in four color finishes.

  • Martinique is a $745 twin bed made with rubberwood solids and available in four finishes.

A major leather upholstery rollout includes a number of transitional, modern, contemporary, Asian, American and European designs. The company has no minimum order, but can also ship container-direct to the dealer.

Introducing a green memory foam mattress line that features plant-based components in the foam and a green production process. The mattresses offer a variety of different feels, strong visual selling stories and high margins, according to the company.

Featuring the Studio line of promotionally priced cabinet beds. Available in three sizes — queen, full and twin. Styling is contemporary with a Cappuccino finish and faux nickel hardware. All of Arason's cabinet sleepers close to a compact 22 inches deep and open to full-length beds.

  • Armen Living is adding to its recently unveiled retro contemporary upholstery program, the largest single introduction of new product in the company's 31-year history. New offerings this market include Monarch, a collection of sofa, loveseat and chair with flared arms and back in a velvet fabrics, $2,400 for three pieces; Portico sofa and coffee table in black, with tufting, $1,499 (for both); 5th Avenue, a retro armless club chair/ottoman set in velvet, $499; Jester, a retro armless club chair with a multi-colored chenille fabric (also available in red-on-red raised velvet), $399; the Jetson club chair in modern styling, $349; and the Eclipse club chair with smooth retro vinyl upholstery in black, brown or cream, $499.

  • Introductions include two contemporary leather seating groups at $1,699 and $3,399, a leather sectional at $2,599, and two leather sofas with a chaise at $1,499 and $1,799.

  • A major rollout of contemporary furniture includes the Idaho motion seating group at $2,399 with an all-leather cover. Targeted to younger consumers, it features a sleek contemporary design with classic retro lines.

  • The Torino dining table features an onyx top and two-door, four-drawer buffet with onyx top and rectangular or square dining shape. Table, $1,199; buffet, $1,150.

  • Barstool introductions include: the Lisbon Leopard barstool is available in heights of 26 or 30 inches with seat and back accents in faux leather with leopard pattern; Sonata barstool with in easy-to-clean microfiber cover in seven color choices, $99; Igloo barstools with espresso wood frames and microfiber seats in seven colors, $99; Tudor barstools with smooth leather cushion accented by nailhead trim and espresso wood legs, $189 for leather and $129 for fabric; and Martini barstool with oval back and four color options, $269.

Marketing programs: The company offers drop-shipping service and is heavily investing in establishing a brand to target youthful consumers. A new Web site and online marketing program features social media.

Grand European is a European traditional-style case goods collection featuring sculptured crown moldings, shell and acanthus leaf carvings and raised drawer panels in a waxed finish with worn/semi-transparent gold tipping. A four-piece bedroom retails at $2,499, and a seven-piece dining set retails at $2,999.


WMC C1389

  • Stone Ridge is a seven-piece bedroom made with American oak solids and veneers in a nine-step lacquer finish and with faux slate inlays. A six-piece group retails for $2,000.

  • Marbella is a seven-piece bedroom made with cottonwood frames and birch veneers in a nine-step lacquer finish. A six-piece group retails for $2,000.

  • The Marbella console table, $600, features cottonwood solid frames and birch veneers, nine-step lacquer finish and dovetail fronts on the drawers. Faux resin on the door panels resembles the look of an old world forge.

  • Copper console tables feature real copper on top and front panels that are hand hammered and fired using an old world technique. Solid-pine mortise and tenon construction and metal glides on all drawers, $799.

  • Copper Ridge occasional tables feature copper tops and hand-forged bases. Tables start at $360.

  • The Modern Classics bedroom and dining collection features gold and silver metal leaf patinas on post-modern forms. Prices range from $999 to $2,999.

  • The Mirror/Mirror group of accent pieces features designs by Richard Chan. They include a room divider with moving mirrors. $1,599.

  • The Wave bench is a rustic contemporary offering made from acacia wood with a natural wax finish, $2,600.

  • The Lynchee bench, available in a variety of sizes, features a natural wax finish and rustic contemporary design, $2,200.

  • Cross Country is an urban rustic group of bedroom, dining room, home office, home entertainment and occasional made with mango veneers in a saddle brown finish.

  • Bungalow Baby is an Arts & Crafts-inspired dining and home office collection made with oak veneers and hardwood solids in a golden brown finish. Leg or trestle table seats feature leather arm and side chairs. Also features matching server.

  • The Other Bedroom concept of smaller-scaled bedroom is being added to Young Classics, Chateau de Vin, Cambridge, Origin and Centennial. Cambridge and Young Classics versions also are available in eggshell finishes in addition to the original darker options.

  • The Flex home office is being added to the Richmond, Centennial, Cape Cod, Chateau de Vin and Young Classics collections.

  • EasySpin, a pop-off magnetic side panel, is designed to provide easy access to electric components. The feature is being added to six collections: Chateau de Vin, Napa, Centennial, Richmond, Barolo and Young Classics.

In upholstery:

  • Adding a Duo-Sofa to its La Jolla and Santa Monica leather motion seating groups. The two-seat Duo-Sofa will recline or glide, and includes a center storage wedge.

Introductions include a promotional recliner stocking program featuring reclining chairs at $399 in fabric. Also expanding its robotic massage chair program with a zero gravity chair at $2,599.

  • The A La Carte collection's Charles dining set features a nutmeg brown cherry finish; and the Walnut Creek collection's Troy 30-inch swivel barstool features a dark walnut finish. Both feature generous scaling, plush seating, matchbook veneer and a modern pedestal base.

  • The 5th Avenue collection's Chelsea wine bar features a dark merlot finish; the Mission Way collection's Gisela pub table features a cinnamon oak finish. Both have solid hardwood construction, rich veneer, modern design and ample storage.

  • The Nos. 2120E/2120DPL transitionally styled chairs feature a tight, smooth back that wraps and slopes down to the seat, which lends to the rounded look. Tall, tapered legs are available in espresso and distressed pecan. Back and seat are accented with cording. Available in fabric or leather.

  • No. 2850AW is a space-saving stationary barrel chair with sculpted arms and back, in transitional styling, square legs are available in antique walnut, dark oak, espresso and Victorian cherry finishes. Available in more than 700 fabric options. Features reversible seat cushion, sleek arms and back.

  • The Nos. 3630E and 3630EL chairs feature clean lines and sleek design. Inspired by 1950s designs with modern updates, these chairs have a smooth, contoured, tightly upholstered back that provides a stylish view from all angles. The seats and backs on the fabric versions are accented with cording; leather versions are accented with French seaming. Tall, flared front and back legs are available in an espresso finish.

  • The Nos. 7050 and 0052 chairs feature button-tufted clamshell backs and arms, traditional styling and tufting. Loose, reversible T-cushion is banded and corded. Barrel-turned legs are available in antique walnut, distressed pecan or Victorian cherry finishes. A short, matching ottoman is accented with buttons and tufting.

  • No. 1AW14 is a scaled down, traditionally styled, petite ladies recliner. It features a smooth, attached bussel back and wings accented with cording. Also has smooth, rounded arms, accented with corded face caps and smooth, banded seat accented with cording.

  • The No. OE555LN9DP home office chair has a shorter back and wider seat than most office chairs and features nailhead trim for an elegant touch.

  • Perspectives is an Asian-inspired whole home collection characterized by its fretwork details, modern chrome hardware and graphite finish. Includes 21 bedroom SKUs, 14 dining SKUs, nine occasional SKUs and one home entertainment SKU. The storage dining table features two sliding top panels that open to reveal felt-lined silverware storage compartments. The set also features upholstered seat, lattice back arm and side chairs. Occasional pieces include a room divider with asymmetrical shelves and a bench cocktail table with a storage drawer and leather upholstered cushion for additional seating.   • Chatham Place is a traditional 14-piece bedroom group with Shaker design elements. It is made with cherry solids and veneers in a medium cherry finish.

  • Marano is a six-piece traditional table group in cathedral cherry veneers with a dark, rich cherry finish and antique brass hardware. Pieces include an end table, rectangular cocktail table, sofa table, round lamp table, round cocktail table and a chair-side chest.

  • Swindon is a three-piece contemporary metal and glass table group with an aged steel finish and steel louver details under glass table tops. Pieces include an end table, rectangular cocktail table and sofa table.

  • Giridoni is a three-piece, Italian-inspired table group with cathedral walnut veneers in a dark, rich cherry finish. Pieces include a round lamp table, round cocktail table and sofa table.

  • Broyhill is making a full array of seating introductions in both fabric and leather, including a sectional for the Choices collection, which offers a choice of three arm, back and leg styles; a contemporary/Asian-style sofa in fabric and leather that correlates with the new Perspectives collection and features an exposed wood base rail; and two traditionals, a contemporary, a transitional and a tight-back.

  • Emerald's introduction strategy this market is to create lifestyle collections that flow from one room to the next. Introductions include the U6600-99 Melany three-piece sectional in a pebble stone cover with solid-wood legs and a bonded leather match cover. Melany also comes with a circular ottoman, with the four pieces retailing at around $1,500.

In case goods:

  • Lumiere is a six-piece bedroom made of hardwood solids and cherry and birch veneers. A six-piece set retails at $1,400.

  • The Kristen youth bedroom is made with tropical hardwoods in a painted white finish with French- style drawer fronts. A five-piece bunk bed retails for $615.

  • The four-piece Regatta home office collection is made with hardwood solids and has a painted black finish. A credenza in the group retails for $500.

  • Westchester casual dining features solid-wood construction with cherry and walnut veneers. Seven-piece set, $810.

  • The No. E700 home entertainment series features poplar solids with cherry veneers and a glazed finish, $319.

Marketing programs: The company has developed a collection of point-of-purchase materials that tells a story for multiple products. In addition, the company is offering a new mixing program from its various warehouses.


WMC C-1301

New Ironman line features “recovery mattresses” offering components clinically proven to enhance recovery while sleeping, according to the company. The line salutes the famous Hawaiian endurance event which includes swimming, biking and running races. T3 Recovery Products is licensing the Ironman line.


WMC C-1415

Introducing Series 100 adjustable bed base targeting price points from $899 to $999 in queen. Designed to look like a conventional white boxspring, the unit can be used with traditional headboards, footboards and existing bed frames. Unit comes with a hand controller hard-wired to a heavy-duty DC motor. The foundation operates with or without optional legs.


WMC A-754

Introducing a new bedroom program called FD Select that addresses the starting price points for its customers. The addition rounds out Fairmont's good-better-best offering. FD Select will focus on bedrooms under $1,899 retail. The initial launch will include four bedrooms in transitional, traditional and casual styling.

  • Doral is a $199 transitional-style bed in a matte black finish and solid-wood posts in a walnut finish. Doral is available as a bed or headboard only.

The Better Homes and Gardens bedding line, retailing from $799 to $1,499, targets the broad group of consumers who look to that magazine for guidance on a variety of home-related issues, officials said.

Expanding its motion upholstery offerings with a three-piece seating group in a faux suede cover at $999. The group includes a rocker/recliner, motion love seat and motion sofa.

The company is expanding its fabric sofa offerings as well as fabric recliners and sourced leather recliners. Among the new fabric groups are No. 5600-31 Twilight and No. 5995-31 Sundance, both with sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman. Serenity is available as recliner, rocker/recliner and swivel rocker.

  • The Marquis Settee is a Louis XVI period French reproduction featuring a hand-carved, solid-oak frame, rosette and acanthus details on the arm stumps and a crested back. Framed in bead, reel and rope carvings. Back features hand-woven double caning. Fluted legs support seat and arm rests. Upholstered in cotton and linen.

  • The Baroque console table, in acacia, features a hand-inlaid parquetry top in an Old World finish with considerable distressing, burnishing and shading and a wrought iron base. Also accented with solid-brass couplings.

  • The Benjamin cabinet is crafted of acacia and features hand-inlaid diamond parquetry on the doors and top. The table is rendered in a heavily distressed and burnished hand finish, with self-waxing lacquer.

  • The Circles mirrored cabinet features a natural weathered finish and simple panels, multi-step molded crown, concave corners and unique reproduction turnbuckle latches. Antiqued mirrored glass is fronted by simple deco-style circles.


WMC B-201Y

The company is focusing on smaller-scale pieces this market. Introductions include Montage, a modular sectional in a charcoal boucle cover featuring five elements that can create a sectional that's either compact or expansive; the Opus condo sofa in a textured plain cover, perfect for small spaces and available in three widths; and Avalon, a high-style, smaller-scale swivel chair in Valdese's Glee that puts a fresh spin on the classic club chair.

Also features carved ionic capitals with fluted pilasters and doors that open from the sides to reveal storage for bottles and accessories.
