F/T posts second Green issue
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, August 26, 2007
High Point — Furniture/Today is publishing its second edition of Green this week, an online-only supplement focused on the fast-developing topic of environmentally friendly furniture.
The 24-page digital edition is available at www.furnituretoday.com, where the issue can be easily accessed and read.
It contains a wealth of information about what manufacturers and retailers are doing to make their businesses and products more green, including profiles of New York retailer ABC Carpet & Home and West Virginia producer Caperton Furnitureworks, pioneers in sustainable furniture and practices.
Green also features news updates on a variety of companies that are building sales through green practices. A Green Scene product portfolio highlights the latest eco-friendly furniture.
"The momentum to 'go green' is really growing," said Ray Allegrezza, editor in chief of Furniture/Today and Green. "Our Green supplement provides a must-read resource for anybody seeking to understand what's happening in this fast-changing, increasingly important arena."
The issue includes hot links to product sources, so retailers can easily learn more and contact manufacturers and importers.
For optimal viewing of Green, select "view" in the top navigation bar and toggle between the standard double-page view or single-page version. The "table width" button near the end of the navigation bar can be used to make the issue the same size as a viewing screen.
