Davis Beaston joins BK Home

Will be senior VP of sales for importer

HIGH POINT — BK Home Furniture, a new case goods importer formed by industry veteran Bill Kemp, has named Davis Beaston as senior vice president of sales.

Beaston had been with casual dining specialist John Thomas Furniture, where he had been president since 2006. He joined the company in 2000 as vice president of sales. Earlier, he was president and CEO of U.S. Furniture Inds., where he worked from 1978 to 2000.

At BK Home, he reports to CEO Kemp. In a statement, Beaston said he looks forward to the “challenge that growing a new company presents.”

“BK Home is a perfect fit for my years of experience in sales and offshore sourcing,” he said.

The company’s line includes adult and youth bedroom, dining room and home entertainment, much of which will be produced in Indonesia.
