Reardon out as president of Hickory Chair

ST. LOUIS - Jay Reardon, longtime president of Hickory Chair, appears to be the latest executive relieved of his duties since KPS Capital Partners, which received court approval to buy Furniture Brands assets Nov. 22, announced the renaming of the company as Heritage Home. Group LLC.
In attempting to contact Reardon at Hickory Chair's corporate office, Furniture/Today was told that Reardon was no longer at the company and that his calls were being forwarded to Drew Sweeney, the company's vice president of sales and marketing. Calls to Sweeney were not returned at press time.
Reardon, who had served as Hickory Chair's president for 17 years, was among the latest known executives to leave the company. Ralph Scozzafa va, CEO since 2008, resigned last week.
On Nov. 25, Heritage Home Group confirmed that it had released Dan Masters as president of its Lane Furniture unit.
Also, FBI Chief Financial Officer Vance Johnston left the company and was replaced by Heritage Home Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey Zappone.
