HIGH POINT — Kelly Kole of Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs won a weekend getaway for two to Bermuda as part of the Destination Design event held by Lexington Home Brands at the October High Point Market.
Kole's name was chosen from a random drawing of attendees. About 150 design professionals visited the reception studio in downtown High Point where they had a chance to view signature pieces in Lexington's indoor and outdoor furniture lines.
"Our goal in hosting this event for design professionals was to introduce them to the myriad of design opportunities we offer at Lexington," said Phil Haney, president and CEO of Lexington Home Brands. "It also served as an opportunity for us to invite them to our main showroom campus. At the main showroom, we had staff dedicated and trained in the nuances of the design trade to assist in showing products suited for their current and future projects."
Kole is a principal at Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs of Kennesaw, Ga. She won a four-day, three night trip to the five-star Mandarin Oriental resort in Elbow Beach, Bermuda.
Haney said Lexington also owed "a sincere thanks to its designer envoys, Jennifer Brouwer and Elaine Williamson. Through their enthusiasm for Lexington products and their networking connections within the design community, they piqued designers' curiosity and encouraged them to join us at the event."
