Hall of Fame banquet set for Oct. 2 in IHFC ballroom

High Point — Tickets are on sale for the American Furniture Hall of Fame Induction Banquet, set for Tuesday evening, Oct. 2, in the International Home Furnishings Center ballroom here.
This year's roster of Hall of Fame nominees includes industry leaders George B. Cartledge Sr., Joyce Cash Eddy, Ormon William "Bill" Fenn Jr., Sam P. Finger Jr., Fred Friedman, Mitchell Gold and Felix Wright.
Those who will be inducted into the hall will be announced during the banquet. Members of the American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation nominated the candidates and will vote on the inductees.
Banquet tickets are $85, or $640 for a table of eight. Reservations must be made by Sept. 15 by mailing a check made out to the American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation, 202 Neal Place, High Point, N.C. 27262.
