Lane promotes Hooker, Gregory
Executives in key operations posts

TUPELO, Miss. — Case goods and upholstery major Lane Furniture has promoted two veteran executives to key operations posts.
Jackie Hooker, who has been with Lane since 1976, is the new executive vice president of operations and Mike Gregory, a Lane employee since 1987, has been named to the new position of vice president of transportation and dealer services.
Hooker, who most recently was senior vice president of manufacturing and product development, will continue to be responsible for those functions, as well as transportation, dealer services, supply chain management and procurement. He replaces Roger Bland, who recently resigned.
Gregory has been vice president of dealer services since 2002 and has held a variety of sales and customer service positions at Lane.
