High Point — Case goods importer Primo Designs is moving to the International Home Furnishings Center for the upcoming market here.
For the past five years, the company has shown at CenterPoint on Manning. It now will occupy about 8,000 square feet in space C-303 of the IHFC.
That space was formerly occupied by Peters-Revington, which will be part of the CR-Home showroom in space 2400 of Showplace.
Primo Designs President David Ballard said the company wanted to be closer to the core market area.
"As our company celebrates our 15th anniversary, it's exciting to be able to show our products in one of the prime locations in High Point, and we thank Tom Loney and his leasing staff at the IHFC for making this possible," he said.
Ballard declined to detail terms of the lease, other than to say it was flexible.
This market, the company will show a new large-scale, traditional formal dining set and a new large-scale, transitional bedroom with architectural elements. Primo also will made additions to existing collections and show key components of its best-selling groups.
