Sew-Rite Shows Six Jeffrey Fisher Ensembles

At the New York Market — Luxury textiles designer Jeffrey Fisher dresses the bedroom with cutting edge fashion and affordable chic in six complete contemporary bedding ensembles, fresh from Jeffrey Fisher Style, a new licensed collection by the Toronto-based Sew-Rite Group of Companies. The collection is on display at the Sew-Rite showroom, 11 East 26th Street.
The latest collections from the studio of the Canadian-based designer and syndicated television personality ("Arresting Design"), embody Jeffrey Fisher's trademark style: sophisticated yet playful, classic yet modern, overflowing with rich, livable color.
"For years, we have been asked to create textile collections which are luxurious, fashion-forward, and innovative, yet priced for the mid-market," commented Fisher, president of Jeffrey Fisher Home. "By teaming with respected industry manufacturer Sew-Rite to produce and market the 'Jeffrey Fisher Style' licensed collection, we are finally able to offer bedding collections made from elegant yet easy care fabrics, allowing the consumer to put together a custom look at a fraction of the cost of luxury bedding ensembles."
The six debut collections, which variously feature queen and king size comforters, duvet covers, bedskirts, shams and sheets, are:
Heathcote Gardens: Inspired by the traditional English garden, combines the rustic scroll design of an old iron gate with gentle blooming florals and butterflies in flight. Made from 100% cotton, striped cotton sateen, and floral-themed jacquard reversible comforter has a suggested retail of $178 for the queen.
Moulin Rouge: Capturing the style and savoir faire of opulent, turn of the century Paris, this refined ensemble pays tribute to Baz Luhrman's award-winning film. Richly colored merlot and gold jacquard, accented with pin tucked taffeta, and shimmer velvet and leopard "fur" accents.
Tranquility: As serene as a spring day, this gently hued sage, ivory and latte bedding is manufactured from easy-care "linen silk" and 100% cotton sateen. A full assortment of bedding accessories are available, including sheet sets embroidered with graceful feather motifs.
Figure 8: Ideal for a beach house or spa-inspired sanctuary, Jeffrey Fisher salutes nature with the radiant colors of the sea and sky. Combining tints of aqua, sand, and seaweed, the striped bedding collection is highlighted with relaxing Swaying Seaweed motifs on the comforter, duvet, and sheet set hem treatments.
Borneo: Exotic and eclectic, Borneo brings alive the rich colors and dramatic patterns of global style in a fresh and fashionable mix of zebra stripes, paisley prints and striking kilim rugs. Old World styling made modern, the collection offers a mix and match selection of bedding and pillows, as well as a sheet set embroidered in vivid paisleys.
Rochester: This bedding ensemble showcases the trademark Jeffrey Fisher fabric mix, juxtaposing geometric patterns with an oversized medallion and a floral print. The palette of green and wheat packs a punch of rust, and offers hem treatments with a playful geometric pattern.
