WMC showrooms to open for Jan. CES

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 25, 2007

More than a dozen World Market Center showrooms will be open during the upcoming International CES, the world's largest consumer electronics trade show here.

The showrooms will be open for buyers Jan. 7–8, the first two days of CES. The WMC will provide free limousine service to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center, the primary CES venue.

In addition, buyers will be able to dine on free breakfast and lunch each day at the WMC, and can register for a Las Vegas trip giveaway during their visit.

Most of the WMC showrooms to be open will feature entertainment furniture, but some lighting, decorative accessories and home office furniture will be on display as well.

CES annually brings about 150,000 people to Las Vegas, including buyers from most big-box retailers and many major furniture chains.

The 14 WMC showrooms set to participate are Brownstone Furniture (A-100); Bush Inds. (A-610); Classic Home (A-642); Crystal Art (A-348); Environ Trading (A-404); Heavy Metal Inc./Nfusion (A-109-110-114); Human Touch (B-900); Kathy Ireland Home by Martin (A-1025); Laurier (B-651); Legends Furniture (A-606); Nova Lighting (A-333); Phillips Collection (A-202); Riverside (B-1175); and Zuo Modern (B-758).

Bush, Martin and Laurier have exhibited at CES in the past, and Bush opened its WMC showroom during last year's show.
