Guildmaster launching QuickShip program
Larry Thomas -- Furniture Today, December 19, 2013
Furniture and home décor manufacturer Guildmaster is introducing a new QuickShip Program at the Jan. 7-14 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.
The reorganized company, based in Springfield, Mo., is rolling out a fresh new look for the brand at winter markets, and the program is a key component of the launch.
"While we embark on the next chapter for Guildmaster, the tenets that have built the brand remain unchanged. Hundreds of hours go into every piece. Handcrafted by master tradesmen who refuse to sacrifice any detail for speed, each work demands weeks of individual attention," said CEO Steve Crowder. "In our Quick Ship program, you will find no exceptions. Every piece embodies a long journey, now completed and ready to ship within seven business days. Guildmaster is committing significant resources to deliver a compelling QuickShip program in direct response to the demands of the buying community."
The program will feature a portfolio of 115 top-selling items from the line.
"The QuickShip program is designed to meet the needs of our core customers," added Margaret Powers, vice president of sales and marketing. "Retailers and designers will benefit by having access to the most popular pieces that Guildmaster has to offer, allowing for additional turns at retail and satisfying design clients on a short timeline."
Guildmaster Home Furnishings combines casual and formal elements for its furniture, wall art, accessories, and lighting creations. Using authentic Old World techniques, 400 master craftsmen sculpt, carve distress and paint solid mahogany and other high quality hardwoods.
Guildmaster will tout the QuickShip Program at the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market; Dallas Total Home and Gift Market, Jan. 15-21; and Las Vegas Market, Jan. 26-30.
