Therapedic offers 3 new Memory Touch models
October 25, 2013,
Dusk is one of the new models in Therapedic’s Memory Touch Collection, designed to compete with bedding imports.
The models offer enhanced features, new looks and pricing at under $1,000. They will give retailers a broader range of domestically produced memory foam and gel-infused foam mattresses, Therapedic officials said.
"We first introduced Memory Touch 10 years ago and it quickly became an important part of our lineup," said Therapedic CEO Gerry Borreggine. "With the advent of our gel memory foam we felt it was time to expand the collection with velocity price points to compete against the Chinese imports."
He added that retailers are seeking products that will give them an edge over their competitors.
"By offering mattresses made with high quality materials at promotional prices, we give our dealers a product made in America that's close to the import price and that will attract a consumer's interest," Borreggine said. "We believe if given an option, most people will opt for the domestic product."
Like the other mattresses in the Memory Touch Collection, the three new models offer support, comfort and durability, the company said.
The Moonlit Night model has a 12-inch profile and features a two-inch comfort and cooling layer of the company's Eco Gel swirl gel memory foam. The eight-inch Morning Glory and 10-inch Dusk models are designed with the same quality, pressure sensitive memory foam for which the company is known, officials said.
Aesthetically, the new offerings feature the neutral tones of a brown micro suede border and beige plush zippered cover made with an ultra-soft, breathable and absorbent stretch knit fabric, the company said. The retail prices for the collection range from $599 to $999.
Therapedic shows in International Home Furnishings Center M-607.
