Master Design expands service
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 26, 2007
Ontario, Calif. — Whole-home importer Master Design has opened a customer service center in its Eupora, Miss., distribution center.
Facility Manager Laura Halford directed the implementation of the center, which serves Midwest and East Coast customers.
The facility will soon host the Lawson Enterprise Resource Planning information-technology system that is designed to improve data management and ensure 48-hour turnaround of orders. The company said the capital expenditures are necessary to keep pace with Master Design's increased business, although it would not disclose its sales.
A manufacturer and marketer of case goods and leather and fabric upholstery, Master Design was founded in 1990 and acquired in March 2002 by the Test Rite Group, which includes HOMY Furnishings, a five-store retail chain in Taiwan.
