HFPA sets date for annual meeting

New York - The Home Fashion Products Association will hold its annual meeting in November, which will feature a guest speaker who will address the future consumer.
The meeting will take place Nov. 13 in showroom building 295 5th Ave. in the buyers lounge on the first floor.
There will be a continental breakfast from 9:00-9:30 a.m. The business meeting will take place from 9:30-10:00 a.m. HFPA president Keith Sorgeloos, president and ceo of Home Source International, will review the accomplishments of this past year. Robert Leo of Meeks, Sheppard, Leo & Pillsbury and HFPA's legal counsel, will give a special report of the government and regulatory issues affecting members now and in 2014.
Afterward, keynote speaker Sarah Davanzo, chief cultural strategy officer for sparks & honey, a next generation cultural identification agency, Sarah will describe the future consumer, the world around her, how it's changing, and what that means for makers and marketers of home products. The presentation will run 45 minutes.
Admission is free for HFPA member companies and $75 for non-members.
