LAS VEGAS — The Young Executive Supporters of City of Hope will hold a Las Vegas Market Kickoff Reception on Monday, Jan. 28, to raise money for the Los Angeles-area medical research and treatment center.
“Y.E.S. was started in July 2006 to get young professionals involved in City of Hope,” said Michael Sandler, assistant director of City of Hope, which specializes in combating cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.
The purpose of Y.E.S. is to build awareness and support among the next generation of industry executives through aggressive advocacy and fundraising for City of Hope.
The Las Vegas cocktail reception is set for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the One-Six Club, on the 16th floor of the World Market Center’s Building B.
The event is sponsored by City Furniture, Mealey’s Furniture & Mattress, RC Willey, Walter E. Smithe Custom Furniture, Valassis and RoomStore Furniture.
