Xactly Corp.

San Jose, Calif. — Sales performance management company Xactly Corp. has named L. Evan Ellis Jr. senior vice president of worldwide operations, responsible for managing global sales, client services and business development.

He reports to Christopher W. Cabrera, Xactly's founder, president and CEO.

Ellis previously served as chief operating officer at Serena Software, where he was responsible for all customer-facing activities. During his tenure, he was instrumental in more than doubling Serena's revenues, achieving operating margins of 35%, and exceeding Wall Street expectations in 17 out of 18 quarters.

He also has worked for Brocade Communications, CyberSource, Silicon Graphics and IBM.

Marketing/Sales

Forcht Group of Kentucky

Lexington, Ky. — Diversified corporation Forcht Group of Kentucky has hired Daryl Kleiman as vice president of sales for its retail group.

Forcht, which recently changed its name from First Corbin Financial Group, owns and operates a Drexel Heritage furniture store and a gift and accessories store, My Favorite Things, both in Lexington.

Kleiman brings over 30 years experience in home furnishings to the company, including sales, marketing, operations and merchandising. He worked at retailers Rhodes Furniture, based in Atlanta, and WGR Furniture in northern Wisconsin.

At Forcht, he reports to Chief Operating Officer Debbie Reynolds.

Kindel Furniture

Grand Rapids, Mich. — High-end reproduction manufacturer Kindel Furniture has named Lee Rollins to the new post of senior account executive, responsible for developing the company's contract hospitality business nationwide.

He also will develop new accounts in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia with design centers, interior designers and retailers. Rollins reports to Jay Paschall, vice president of new product development and global sales.

During the past eight years, he held various management posts with Baker Furniture. Before that, Rollins worked in the banking industry in North Carolina.

"The South has a great appreciation for American-made 18th and 19th century furniture, and we will be reacquainting them with Kindel," Rollins said. "We also will be reintroducing ourselves to the design communities in major Southern metro areas."

Moore & Giles

Forest, Va. — Bo Gravely has joined leather supplier Moore & Giles as a sales representative.

He will service residential upholstery accounts in High Point and Hickory, N.C. His role eventually will grow to include design and hospitality accounts, the company said.

Gravely had worked in marketing and finance for a Virginia boiler maintenance company. At Moore & Giles, he reports to President R. Sackett Wood.

Buyers

CCA Global Partners

St. Louis — Dave Frazier has been promoted to soft surface buyer for retailing cooperative CCA Global Partners, responsible for rugs, high-end broadloom and window fashions.

A 12-year CCA Global veteran, he will source new product, build promotions, develop growth strategies, monitor customer support, attend trade shows and support the company's brand merchandisers.

Frazier reports to David Fuerst, vice president of soft surfaces.

With $10.2 billion in total annual sales, CCA Global Partners serves nearly 3,600 stores in the United States and abroad through 15 affiliate companies in the flooring, mortgage, lighting and biking industries.

Home Line Inds.

Philadelphia — Distributor, importer and manufacturer Home Line Inds. here has promoted Matt Grodin to vice president of purchasing, responsible for overseeing the purchasing of the entire furniture line.

He joined Home Line six years ago as a buyer, and has spent time on the road as a sales representative. Grodin played a major role in the development of Home Line's Hunting Park Upholstery brand.

He has been in the furniture industry for over 20 years, ranging from retail sales at Perma-Built Furniture in Penndel, Pa., to running his own distribution facility, Arbed, in northern New Jersey.

At Home Line, Grodin reports to Gabriele Natale, executive vice president of merchandising.

Information Tech

Aaron Rents

Atlanta — Rent-to-own retailer Aaron Rents has promoted John T. Trainor to vice president of information technology in its Sales and Lease Ownership Division.

He was IT director of application development.

Trainor joined Aaron in 1999 and has led development of software for the stores and for the company's enterprise systems.

He has over 16 years experience in IT, and has worked for Georgia Power Co., the late U.S. Sen. Paul D. Coverdell, and at the Southern Co.
