HOM Furniture launches contract and commercial sales division

Appoints Judy Lucas to direct effort

MINNEAPOLIS — Top 100 retailer HOM Furniture has launched a new contract and commercial sales division and appointed industry veteran Judy Lucas to direct the effort.

With the title commercial consultant, Lucas will provide professional sales and design services to the resort/hotel/lodging, restaurant/food service, membership/country clubs and corporate business communities. The new division's capabilities range from designing and remodeling a single-person business to a large resort or rapidly growing company. The target market will be the Upper Midwest as well as national accounts.

A team of award-winning, ASID-certified designers will be at Lucas' disposal to assist with client needs and projects-big or small-in many key furniture categories, including patio and outdoor, sofas and chairs, office furniture, indoor dining, pub tables and stools, area rugs and mattresses.

Lucas brings to HOM significant experience and seasoned leadership in commercial product sales as well as in product sourcing and buying, according to the company.

Lucas will operate from the HOM Furniture general offices and distribution center in Coon Rapids, Minn.
