Hickory Springs' Mann joins SFCA board

HIGH POINT — Buster Mann, vice president of the eastern division of Hickory Springs Mfg., has been appointed to the board of directors of the Specialized Furniture Carriers Assn.

The SFCA, a network of transportation companies that primarily ship furniture, is a division of the American Home Furnishings Alliance.

Mann, a former president of the AHFA Suppliers Council, will represent the suppliers group on the SCFA board.

“I look forward to working with the other members of the board to stimulate the strategic thinking and operating intelligence companies need to improve profitability by managing the global supply chain,” Mann said.
