Sears' veteran Domingue to join Jo-Ann as vp, gmm

Charles Domingue will join Jo-Ann Stores here as vp, general merchandise manager for home decor, effective April 15.
He will be responsible for soft home decor, framing and home accents.
Domingue, a long-time home textiles retail executive, most recently had been divisional merchandise manager for boys 2 to 20 in the children's division at Sears. Earlier he was Sears' divisional merchandise manager for bed and bath. Prior to that he was at Dayton's (now Marshall Field's) and May Co.
Domingue becomes one of four divisional merchandise managers in a reorganization of responsibilities. Previously there were three dmms. He reports to Dave Bolen, executive vp, merchandising and marketing.
The company operates 88 Jo-Ann fabric and craft stores, and 70 Jo-Ann etc stores.
