Home Meridian celebrating grand opening

High Point — Furniture importer Home Meridian will hold a grand opening party at its new international headquarters here Jan. 15.
The event, to be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and a tour of the new marketing and design centers.
Home Meridian's senior management team, including design, marketing, sourcing and sales staff, occupies the third floor of a new 20,000-square-foot facility at 3980 Premier Drive. The company's name is on the building.
Home Meridian was formed in 2006 with the merger of Pulaski Furniture and SLF. The company's other marketing units are SLH, which serves the contract/hospitality market, and Creations, a producer of juvenile furnishings.
The company also has facilities in Phoenix; Pulaski, Va.; and Madison, N.C., where it has more than 1 million square feet of distribution space. Home Meridian also has offices in Dongguan, China, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
