High Point — Furniture/Today's 2008 Economic Outlook Survey was compiled by Furniture/Today's market research team, led by Kay Anderson.

Forecasts also came from the National Assn. of Home Builders/Housing Economics; National Assn. of Realtors; Research Seminar in Quantitative Economics, University of Michigan; Bank of America; BMO Capital Markets Economics; Morgan Keegan; National City; RBC (Royal Bank of Canada); Wachovia Economics Group; Wells Fargo Economics; and the Mortgage Bankers Assn.

In addition, the research team discussed furniture sales and pricing issues with a number of major vendors and retailers before finalizing the forecasts.
