Austin, Texas — Case goods and leather importer Four Hands has hired former Nike executive Christine Church as its marketing manager.
At Nike, Church most recently was an international marketing manager for the company's Austin-based Timing, Vision and Techlab group. She also worked in marketing and presentation groups for Barclays Global Investors and Miller Freeman Publishing.
She reports to company founder and CEO Brett Hatton and will oversee the day-to-day management of the marketing group, including the wholesale business and retail store in Austin. The marketing activities were previously handled by former vice president of marketing Jeff Hiller, who left the company last summer.
"Christine's marketing background is impressive," Hatton said in a statement. "She combines expertise that has been gained working for one of the world's most recognizable brands, with a breadth of international experience that is vital in today's global market. Her energy, industry experience and extensive communications skills will be invaluable to Four Hands."
