Mount Airy, N.C. — Ron Crouch has left his position as president of contemporary casual dining and occasional specialist Andrew Pearson Global.
Company officials said Crouch stepped down in December to pursue other interests. He had joined the company as president in August after more than three years at Austin Gray, a case goods importer he formed in 2004.
Crouch declined to comment on his departure, other than to say that he plans to stay in the industry.
Chairman Hal Brownfield will reassume the title and responsibilities of president, a role he filled before Crouch joined the company.
Brownfield was traveling in Asia and not available for comment. Sue Brownfield, executive vice president, said he will plan long-range strategy and will help develop new marketing and sales tools for customers.
He also is helping develop an extensive lineup of merchandise "that should make the April market a very exciting market for us," she said. "We continue to develop a tremendous amount of new contemporary product for the marketplace."
