Halunen returns to Natuzzi

HIGH POINT — Peter Halunen, who joined Sofitalia last fall as vice president of sales and operations, has left the company to return to his former job at Natuzzi.
A spokesman for Natuzzi said Halunen is now the company's eastern regional sales manager. He held a similar post at the leather upholstery major before he was hired last fall by Sofitalia, the new leather upholstery division of Lacquercraft. The Natuzzi post had remained vacant since then.
Sofitalia has not named a replacement for Halunen.
Earlier in his career, Halunen worked for Top 100 retailers Jordan's, Baer's and Robb & Stucky. He also was vice president of merchandising for Internet retailer Furniture.com.
