Clint Eastwood sues Palliser
Contends company used his name without permission

LOS ANGELES — Actor and director Clint Eastwood has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court here accusing Palliser Furniture of illegally trading on his name without permission, contactmusic.com reported today.
The lawsuit contends that Eastwood’s name is used in a home theater seating line that includes prominent actors Marlon Brando, James Cagney, Gary Cooper, Charles Bronson and Sean Connery.
The suit seeks unspecified damages and an injunction preventing further advertising, sale and distribution. Palliser officials were not immediately available to respond.
