FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — Fash-n-Home Buying Group has five new retailer members, including its first one in Massachusetts.
The nonprofit group, which was founded in 1964 and now has 27 members with 36 outlets representing a combined annual volume of $70 million, is now in five states and is about to sign a member in a sixth, said Albert Mitrani, the organization’s vice president.
Fash-n-Home President Michael Fasciglione said the new members are All Brands Furniture, Perth Amboy, N.J.; The Furniture Source, Howell, N.J.; Globe Furniture, Fall River, Mass.; Kennedy Furniture, North Bergen, N.J.; and Romantica Furniture, Paterson, N.J.
Fash-n-Home now is in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. It also plans to add a member in Delaware soon. Paul Horowitz, executive director, said Fash-n-Home is one of the largest buying groups in the Northeast.
“What makes Fash-n-Home unique is its own distribution center with substantial inventory on hand for ‘just in time’ delivery to its members,” said Horowitz. “In addition, we produce 24 circulars a year that feature items we stock and vendor-direct specials only for Fash-n-Home members, offered because of their combined buying power.”
He said the group meets four times a year for members to see product and network.
Fash-n-Home said it is seeking new members in the Northeast. Anyone interested may contact Horowitz at (631) 845-9000 or paul@fnhfurn.com.
