Nygard International is launching the Nygard Home line of soft home fashions in partnership with soft home furnishing manufacturer Londen Inc.
Nygard Home is a soft home furnishings line of bedding and bathroom towels designed to meet the needs of the contemporary lifestyle, according to the company. The bedding line will include duvets, pillows, pillowcases, comforters, flat sheets, fitted sheets, decorative pillows, bedskirts, accent blankets and throws.
Retail prices for queen duvets in the United States are: Swish — 100 percent cotton for $180; Blue Suede Shoes — 97 percent poly/3 percent spandex for $200; Chino — 97 percent cotton/3 percent spandex for $210; Stained Glass — 65 percent rayon/23 percent poly/12 percent linen for $223; and Loft — 97 percent poly/3 percent spandex for $320.
Supreme sheet comes in 10 colors, 335-count and is made of 100 percent cotton sateen. A queen version is $160.
In bath, Nygard Home will feature a full towel set from face cloths (12-by-12 inch) to bath sheets (39-by-70 inch) to bathmats. Towels come in 13 colors and are 100 percent combed cotton. The bath towel retails for $19.99
Londen Inc has been in the soft home furnishings industry for 20 years. The company’s primary focus is the manufacturing and wholesale of fine linens and towels.
The company has a large distribution with Canadian retailers — independents as well as Sears Canada. In the United States, the company stated that it has just begun to penetrate the market. The line has retail customers in Alabama, Georgia, Nebraska and Florida.
Online, classicduvets.com and beddingandbath.com carry the line’s complete range of product. The company also exhibits at Atlantasmart in January and July.
