America's Mattress has new Fresno unit

Fresno, Calif. — Robert Dutcher has opened his second America's Mattress sleep shop here on West Shaw Avenue.

The new Serta-exclusive store is about 6,000 square feet and offers such lines as Perfect Day, Vera Wang by Serta, Perfect Sleeper and Sertapedic, and the new foam True Response collection.

The Dutcher family has been in the flooring business for over 30 years in Fresno. Robert Dutcher opened a Serta-exclusive sleep shop earlier this year on North Blackstone Avenue.

Serta's network ranked No. 8 on Furniture/Today's list of Top 25 bedding retailers, with estimated 2006 sales of $205.4 million and over 350 stores at the end of that year. Serta, based in Hoffman Estates, Ill., has 26 U.S. and four Canadian factories, with distribution in 60 other countries.
