Hershberg joins IHFC as vice president
Will be responsible for accessory leasing

HIGH POINT — The International Home Furnishings Center here has named Lee Hershberg vice president of accessory leasing.
Hershberg, who has more than 13 years of trade show experience, reports to Walt Goldsby, vice president of leasing.
He succeeds Martha Stewart, who has retired after a 28-year career at the IHFC. She continues to work as a consultant and will assist Hershberg to assure smooth transition.
“She was instrumental in the formation of the IHFC Advisory Board, which was a foundation of the first cohesive presentation of decorative accessories in High Point,” said Tom Lindh, IHFC president and CEO. He said that during Stewart’s tenure, accessory space in the building grew from 100,000 square feet to 550,000, and added that she “was the force for developing” the Accessory Preview, an IHFC publication.
Hershberg most recently was show director of the Kitchen and Bath Group at VNU Expositions/Nielsen Business Media, the kitchen and bath industry’s largest trade show. Lindh said Hershberg “will help us enhance IHFC’s position as the home furnishings industry’s No. 1 accessory shopping destination.”
Before joining VNU/Nielsen, Hershberg worked at Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta and as event coordinator at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.
