Momeni moves HQ to New Jersey

Carlstadt, N.J. — Rug supplier Momeni has moved its corporate headquarters from New York's Oriental Rug District to a 50,000-square-foot office and distribution center here.
Company President Reza Momeni said the building includes executive offices, a 15,000-square-foot showroom and modern shipping facilities.
Momeni's one-of-a-kind rugs will be distributed from the new facility, while programmed rugs will continue to be sent from the company's 125,000-square-foot Atlanta warehouse. Momeni had been based in New York since 1975.
"As our business has grown, we needed more space and more efficient methods of warehousing and shipping our growing assortment of one-of-a-kind rugs," said Momeni.
"In addition, we needed additional space for displaying our expanding programmed offerings. With the move, our office staff gains the space they need now while also planning for future growth."
The new facility is minutes from Manhattan, near the New Jersey Meadowlands complex and close to Newark International Airport and Port Newark. It also is near the ORICA building in Secaucus, N.J., home to many Oriental rug importers.
