Miller draws 300 to Carls' event

Boca Raton, Fla. — Fashion and furniture designer Nicole Miller drew 300 guests to a VIP event at retailer Carls Furniture and Design Studio here.
Miller, whose furniture collection is produced by Excelsior Designs, greeted visitors, discussed her design aesthetic and posed for photos with fans.
The updated 55,000-square-foot Boca Raton showroom provided a setting for the event, and guests were serenaded by a classical quartet.
Hors d'oeuvres were served and each person received a gift bag.
"It was a wonderful opportunity to partner with one of our important vendors to bring together this exciting event," said Mike Baker, CEO of Carls, which has 10 furniture stores and 10 patio stores in Florida. Steven Kayne, president of Excelsior Designs, co-hosted the event.
