Anthony named VP at Sharperimage.com

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. —

Former Brookstone executive Mark Anthony has joined Camelot Venture Group, the license holder and operator of the Sharperimage.com e-commerce platform, as senior vice president and general merchandise manager.

He was previously operational vice president and GMM at Brookstone, where he oversaw merchandising for that company's Web site and catalog for 12 years.

“We're thrilled that Mark decided to join us and head up our merchandising team,” said David Katzman, Camelot Venture Group managing partner. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and 23-plus years of experience in merchandising and specialty retail on both the online and catalog sides of the business.”

Camelot relaunched the Sharper Image Web site in October and says it will mail catalogs in time for Father's Day. Anthony will work with Sharper Image licensees to source product.

Sharper Image is owned by a joint venture of Bluestar Alliance, Hilco Consumer Capital and Gordon Bros.
