Azra to introduce rug line at Las Vegas Market
Will be company's North American debut
Gary Evans -- Furniture Today, January 25, 2010
HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Azra Home Furnishings will introduce a hand-knotted rug line at the Las Vegas Market, which will serve as the initial launch of its North American brand.
The collection's debut, which will be shown in space C-599-79 of the World Market Center, has been created specifically for the American market, the company said.
Azra has been making high-end hand-knotted rugs in Pakistan for more than 40 years and has an established retailer base in Europe and South America. The company said it will offer North American customers designs that are fashion-forward while maintaining Old World craftsmanship.
The new collection includes 50 rug styles in a mix of traditional, transitional and contemporary designs in current color palettes and in all standard sizes. Retail prices ranging from $3,000 to $6,000.
