Lexington adds to Tommy Bahama

Las Vegas — Lexington Home Brands has dozens of introductions ready for its debut in the World Market Center this week, including a new Tommy Bahama group.
The company is showing in 22,000 square feet in the World Market Center, B-1301, for this market and has committed to a space in Building C, which opens in July. Phil Haney, president and CEO, said this market's space may be temporary, but doesn't look designed for a short-term stay.
"The structure built at our entrance sets the tone for the new Kingstown collection, an adventurous (Tommy Bahama) collection that finds its inspiration in British Colonial styling, with a hint of Campaign and a whisper of Safari," said Haney. "The evocative pieces in Kingstown give you the sense of a well-traveled life, of items hand-selected during journeys around the globe, from the West Indies to Africa to the Caribbean."
He said it retains the Tommy Bahama line's laid-back appeal, but "broadens the approach with a relaxed traditional look that can fit into many lifestyles."
Materials include hand-tooled leather, nailhead decorative trims, zebra patterned hair-on-hide, and an original Tamarind finish. Glass, cane, antiqued stone and hammered copper are also used.
In addition to Kingstown's 65 pieces, the company will show much of its two October introductions: Long Cove, a sophisticated coastal look, and Zacara, combining soft contemporary and architectural influences.
Lexington also will feature other product from its Tommy Bahama, Trump Home, Palmer Home, Nautica and Lexington Upholstery lines.
"Our interior design team has worked their magic again, transforming the Las Vegas space into a show home for Lexington," Haney said. "But this is just the beginning. Our permanent showroom in Building C (C-1100) ... will provide a sophisticated West Coast home for Lexington to debut its new Trump Home Mar-a-Lago collection."
Mar-a-Lago, the third collection Trump collection, will take the brand "into a new style, an Old World look that exudes sophistication and upscale living; rich leathers, scrolled metal and substantial forms are hallmarks of the striking collection."
Lexington will celebrate Kingstown with a party in the showroom Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Retailers placing a qualifying order for the group this week will get a thank-you gift: an Apple iPhone.
"We wanted to kick off our first Las Vegas Market in a special way that would show our appreciation for dealers who have supported us," said Haney.
