Las Vegas Market's Retailer Resource Center offers business services

New HomeFurnishings.com Web site among featured programs

LAS VEGAS — The Western Home Furnishings Assn. and National Home Furnishings Assn. will showcase the HomeFurnishings.com Web site at next week's Las Vegas Market, Feb. 1-5.

The site will be on The Launch Pad, an innovative spot for companies to launch new products, in the Retailer Resource Center in space B-1630 of the World Market Center.

HomeFurnishings.com is NHFA's new Web portal. According to the association, it will engage consumers with meaningful lifestyle content and will drive them to NHFA member retailer microsites for store information and additional motivators to turn their browsing interest into sales for participating NHFA member retailers.

This new program is designed to increase consumer confidence and loyalty in purchasing furniture; grow retailer credibility with the consumer; lift participating retailers' furniture sales; provide more efficient use of advertising dollars through a national media campaign; and create new leads and market differentiation.

In Las Vegas, buyers will have access to an array of vendors displaying their products and services in two Retailer Resource Center locations, B-1630 and C-512. Company experts from the advertising and marketing, financial, consulting, design, technology, training and warehouse distribution sectors will be present for the week and will be able to help buyers solve business services needs.

Complimentary services at the RRC will include a daily buyers' breakfast, Internet café, coffee bar and the new WineDown networking event in the afternoons.

"Both locations of the Retailer Resource Center showcase great business partners for the home furnishings retailer. Each location has new vendors showing the latest products for home furnishings businesses," said WHFA's Executive Director Sharron Bradley.
