Culp plans to sell High Point headquarters
Officials hope to stay in space as tenants

HIGH POINT — Fabric major Culp Inc. is putting its headquarters and showroom building here up for sale, but officials want the company to remain in the building as a tenant if possible, according to a High Point newspaper report.
The company has listed the property for $6 million, the High Point Enterprise said. Culp opened its showroom in the 56,000-square-foot, three-story building in December 2004. Culp officials said the company’s changing business model, which puts more emphasis on imports, has resulted in less need for office space.
