Nifong named president of Al Fresco Fabrics
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 25, 2010
Todd Nifong has been appointed president of Al Fresco Functional Fabrics, effective Jan. 1. He replaces Howard Altizer, who remains as a consultant with the High Point, N.C.-based company.
“Howard has led this business for over 25 years and, through his efforts, this transition will be seamless,” said Nifong, who began working with Altizer & Co. eight years ago after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
“I am extremely excited about the future of our business,” Nifong said. “Since we introduced the Alfresco Functional Fabric line in 2003, we have had steady growth in this market. We also have the most extensive and knowledgeable group of sales representatives in the history of the company. With this, along with our longtime service-oriented office and warehouse staff, we expect further growth in this market for many years to come.”
