Turning House chooses FurnishWeb

BLACKSBURG, Va. —

Turning House Furniture has selected the FurnishWeb software suite to offer clients access to the manufacturer's line of solid-wood furniture created from reclaimed timber, according to FurnishWeb developer Internet Databases.

FurnishWeb is a dealer and sales representative portal for the home furnishings industry, featuring a comprehensive online order, inventory, shipping and tracking system.

“Each piece from Turning House Furniture includes an authentication packet telling the story of its origin,” said Barry Welch, developer of FurnishWeb. “Turning House Furniture's philosophy of reclaiming aged timber and transforming it into beautiful furniture is due great respect. By providing FurnishWeb to Turning House Furniture, we feel part of a win-win story for all committed to sustainable living.”

Becky Koger, sales manager at Turning House, said the software allows the company “to communicate more accurately and effectively with our sales force and our dealers. The sales reps especially love the 'smart sales' feature, which gives a history of any account's buying habits at a glance.”

Internet Databases also announced that juvenile products producer Stork Craft Mfg. has selected FurnishWeb software.
