Disney Home, Rug Market team up

Las Vegas — The Rug Market has signed a multi-year agreement with Disney Home to create a collection of sophisticated, non-character adult rugs inspired by the vision of Walt Disney.

The company unveiled the Walt Disney Signature collection in its World Market Center showroom here last week and plans to ship the line to retailers nationwide in May.

The rugs are hand-tufted in China of New Zealand wool and viscose faux silk. The rugs are available in 5 by 8 to 10 by 13 sizes, retailing from $899 to $3,499.

Custom sizes also are available.

Each rug design draws inspiration from Disney's classic films such as "Fantasia," "Cinderella," "Mulan" and "Peter Pan."

"The addition of the new rug line is an integral part of the Walt Disney Signature product line expansion. It complements the Walt Disney Signature furniture line by Drexel Heritage and Lighting by Minka, just to name a few," said Mike Shabtai, CEO of The Rug Market.
