La-Z-Boy opens 2 U.S. stores

Monroe, Mich. — La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores have opened in Oregon and Indiana.

The new 19,500-square-foot store in Phoenix, Ore., is located on North Phoenix Road and offers a full selection of La-Z-Boy upholstery, occasional furniture and home accents. A 2,500-square-foot Mattress Gallery by La-Z-Boy is connected to the store and features mattresses by Serta, including the Perfect Day, Perfect Sleeper and Vera Wang lines.

Allen Pfeifer co-owns the store with Kevin Pfeifer and Scott Pfeifer.

Another La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store has opened in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Magnavox Way. The new 16,000-square-foot store also offers a full selection of La-Z-Boy product.

John Klopfenstein owns the store with his wife, Linda, and son, Jason.

The dedicated La-Z-Boy store network now includes more than 330 dealer- and company-owned units.
