LAS VEGAS — Retailers, sales representatives and members of the media received a preview of AICO's Michael Amini & Jane Seymour, A Design Collaboration line, here Sunday.
It's the company's first licensed line with a celebrity tie-in. Seymour and company founder and CEO Michael Amini answered questions about the line and shared details of their collaboration, which has been in the works for the past year.
"This really is a dream come true for me," Seymour said of the line, which includes three case goods and upholstery collections totaling about 150 SKUs. "The idea of putting this all together in this amazingly beautiful showroom is really something. I couldn't be more proud of our collaboration.
Amini described Seymour as someone who, despite her celebrity as an actress and artist, is both humble and easy to work with. He said that made it easy for the two to communicate and begin the design collaboration that resulted in the three collections -- Hollywood Swank, Cobblestone Road and Palace Gates.
The collection is on display at AICO's showroom in the World Market Center, space C-1601.
