AFW sends relief to Haiti

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 1, 2010

American Furniture Warehouse has teamed up with Project Cure to collect medical supplies to send to Haiti.

Donors are dropping off supplies at all 12 of AFW's Colorado stores. To date, the retailer has collected and delivered two 30-foot trucks full of supplies to the Project Cure warehouse, including a single donation of more than $14,000 worth of products.

The Centennial, Colo.-based nonprofit Project Cure helps millions of people worldwide by providing lifesaving medical supplies. It is preparing supplies to go to organized medical teams in earthquake-devastated Haiti.
