Amis returns to Springwall Sleep Products

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario —
Bedding industry veteran Steve Amis has returned to Springwall Sleep Products as national sales director after a two-year absence.
Amis left in early 2008 to pursue opportunities outside of the furniture industry, and resumed his post on Jan. 4. He is responsible for leading the family-owned mattress producer's sales team and for the merchandising and marketing of the line.
Company CEO Boyd Kay said in a statement that with Amis “having played a very key role in the growth of our company previously, we are very excited to welcome Steve home to the Springwall family. Mr. Amis is very well respected by the dealer base, industry suppliers and our sales team for his professionalism and determination to build successful partnerships.”
Amis said he has been touched by the response his return has received.
“The reception has been fantastic, albeit a little unexpected and overwhelming,” he said. “The brief hiatus has given me an even greater appreciation for this industry and the bonds it creates.”
