LAS VEGAS —
Parker House, best known as a resource for home office and home entertainment furniture, is rolling out a leather upholstery lineup at market called Parker Living that is targeting middle and upper-middle retail price points.
The expanded Parker House showroom, in space A-953 of the World Market Center, is featuring 24 stationary and motion seating groups from the new line— some of which will be available for immediate delivery.
“I'm excited about the new program,” said Mark Parris, a leather upholstery veteran hired last fall as vice president of sales and marketing for Parker Living.
“We've already shown it to several key retailers around the country, and the response has been terrific.”
He said the new models have transitional or contemporary styling, all-leather covers and kiln-dried hardwood frames. Most will be stocked in multiple cover choices.
The line is targeting sofa price points of $999 to $1,499 at retail.
Parris said all products will be stocked at Parker House's Southern California warehouse, and said models that currently are not available will begin shipping in late March or early April.
“It's all going to be in stock,” he said. “That always has been a hallmark of this company.”
A gallery program also will be unveiled at market, Parris said.
